Super Stars Dance Program

As an owner of a dance studio and a supporter of positive outlets I fully support the Super Star dance program. The Super Stars dance program is designed for individuals with special needs. The instructor of the Super Star individuals started working with people with disabilities nearly 10 years ago and opened the dance program 6 years ago. This program was opened to give people with special needs an affordable activity as well as to show everyone else in the community that anyone, no matter their physical or mental disability, can dance!

With the growing Super Star Program and with students that are unable to access the current second story location, a ground level location would be ideal! I am currently a backer for the kickstarter program which allows supporters and sponsors to donate to this program. The only way they will receive the funds to relocate and insure the program's continued development is if they can make their goal of $20,000. Please take the time to watch the video below and visit to find out more about the Super Star program and how you can help!

I am very proud of this program and want to help reach and inspire people of all disabilities.

I'm delighted to be a spokesperson for Alaska Fashion Week and proud to have them as one of my generous sponsors! Alaska Fashion Week will be held at the Dena'ina Civic Center on April 3-6th.

Last year, Anchorage was voted as one of the worst dressed places and that is why we are really striving to bring more fashion up to Alaska. During Alaska Fashion Week designers from all over the world will introduce their clothing lines and there will also be vendors and entertainment as well!

One of the incredible fashion designers that will be showcased this year is Leontine Abdullah from California. Leontine has graciously made me a custom designed evening gown for the upcoming Mrs. Alaska United States Pageant which will be held March 8th 6pm at Dimond High School!

High Noon Interview & Relay For Life

High Noon Radio Interview

I had the great pleasure of being on a live radio show called High Noon hosted by Kelly Lee Williams. It was a wonderful opportunity to promote my platform, the pageant and my dance studio. Check it out at : High Noon Radio Interview

Relay For Life

Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries raise much-needed funds and awareness to save lives from cancer through the Relay For Life movement. I was asked to participate in an event this evening and to provide entertainment. I sang and danced to a song called "Walking on Sunshine" because I really felt that an uplifting and positive song would mean a tremmendous amount to the people who are battling with cancer and to the many survivors of cancer. To read more about our local Relay For Life committee and events check out the Facebook link:

Non Stop Flight Inauguration & Bean's Cafe "The Children's Lunchbox"

Alaska Airlines inaugurated a nonstop flight service between Anchorage and Las Vegas Nevada. I am very excited for this new service because the flight time is now only 5 1/2 hours long and The Mrs. United States Pageant is held in Las Vegas every summer! I am really hoping to have the great privilege and honor to compete this upcoming year as Mrs. Alaska United States.

I helped coordinate a fundraiser that benefited Bean's Cafe The Children's Lunchbox Program and I was happy to perform a few songs there as well. I love giving back to the community and helping out others as much as possible! My family and I are very fortunate and grateful for everything that we have. During this holiday season we really try to recognize others out there that may not have much, that are struggling or simply need help.

The Anchorage School District collected income data which showed that over 18,000 of our students right here in Anchorage are living in poverty. They are AT-Risk of not having access to enough healthy food and there are thousands of more people in  the Bean's Cafe outreach communities. In 2012 The Children's Lunchbox prepared and delivered more that 200,000 meals and is now on track to increase that number by 20% this year.

Christmas Tree Elegance Gala

The Eva Foundation Christmas Tree Elegance Gala was a spectacular fundraising event complete with silent auctions, dinner, and dancing. Individual sponsors and local businesses sponsor trees and gift packages. Each tree consist of a theme and is auctioned off during the event. The proceeds benefit Eva Foundation programs and survivors, with esteem building services that may include: household goods, haircuts, glasses, dental, makeup, clothing, resume assistance, etc.

The Eva Foundation's goal is to raise funds to provide self-esteem building necessities to survivors of abuse and build foundation programs: Kids, Pets, and Elder.

I had the great honor of being the keynote speaker at this event and share my survival story with over 300 guest. I also sang a heartfelt song and received a standing ovation! The Eva Foundation is one of my favorite non-profit organization because it stands for something that is near and dear to me.
